(art. 4). Cette mesure place les objets classés sous la protection du Conseil d'Etat. Elle fait l'objet d'une inscription au Registre foncier. Seuls les arrêtés du Conseil d'Etat ont force de loi. Les premiers objets ont été protégés en 1921 suite à l'entrée en vigueur de la loi du 19 juin 1920.
